there really arent any decisive home remedies. If your doctor prescibed you Lamisil its because you need it. The benefits definately outweigh the risks. If you prefer to try something topically (but still prescription) agree to your MD about Penlac
There are also other oral antibiotics that own been shown to be impressive in treating toenail fungus. They are itraconazole (Sporonox), fluconazole (Diflucan), and griseofulvin (Fulvicin)
Beware, if the fungus isnt taken vigilance of it can spread, and you could end up losing your toe nail. (they don't grow back!)

how more or less topical lamasil.you don't ingest it...just put it on your fungus

If I have toenail fungus I'd soak my feet within a pan of bleach. That ought to slay anything.

Use vicks vapor rub I read up on this problem in the doctors book of home remedies and empire voted on the best cure and overall it was vicks vapor rub applied to the infected staple twice daily and contained by no time you will see results.
penlac nail lacquer...it is a prescription med applied directly to the pin...kinda pricey though.
