I want to know if within is a relationship between sinusitis and GERD?

I was told that sometimes when you presume you have sinus problems it is really GERD symptomsI want to know if within is a relationship between sinusitis and GERD?
Sometimes, the symptoms of GERD can mimic some of the symptoms of sinusitis. The sensation of post-nasal draining and the entail to clear your throat constantly may be due to post-nasal drainage -- but may also be due to GERD. The sinus specialist may therefore examine you within the office to see if at hand is physical evidence of GERD.
Acid reflux can sometimes actually contribute to sinusitis! That is to vote, the acid can travel adjectives the way up to your proboscis and sinuses (for instance, while you are lying down asleep), and this acid can inflame the trunk and sinus linings. This problem is more adjectives in children -- but it may also be see in adults.

not that i am aware of. however, severe cases of GERD can lead to upper airway irritation and coughing.
There is a relationship to asthma - but not sinusitis. There are NO VALID studies to indicate such.
Its the aim for adult beginning asthma is on the increase.
