I graduated from a Christian Recovery program for women in the region of a year ago, and nobody stays in touch near each other, so I want to start an Alumni program so we can own fundraisers, and have an perception on how many women stay verbs and sober, and just to fellowship near one another, but I need some planning on how to get it started. How nice of you... I would start beside the facility you attended or another notable program and ask for their guidance on what to do.
I can relate to your question because I am a woman within recovery. Women grasp married and are difficult to find because they get married and and devolution their names. I refuse to remarry because I want my fellow women recovery member to be in touch. I enjoy to attend Women's AA and NA meetings because we requirement the fellowship that Dr. Bob and Bill W. founded. And your church can help too. We own St Mary's in Anchorage that have women's meetings and Clithroe of Alaska have women's meetings too. Don't be discouraged to bear that drink because help is near. I am only 30 days but you can do it too. Women should lone attend women meetings for the first 90 days because some men try to use AA and NA meeting when women are vulnerable. Please stay near your church and do not give up.
